Scholarship

Academics

Since Learning is one of our four Core Values in Gamma Phi Beta, we continuously strive for excellence in academics. We pride ourselves on our GPA ranking highly in the nation among other Gamma Phi Beta chapters and within the Clemson Community. Our Scholarship status is at a Gold Level on the Gamma Phi Beta Scholarship Program. Our chapter's average GPA is above a 3.0 and above the "All Women's Average GPA" on campus.

All of our women strive to balance a heavy workload, while engaging in campus life to become well-rounded individuals. As we recognize this, we reward women that receive a positive change in their GPA each semester, as well as our Crescent Scholars - those who earn above a 3.4 GPA. We know that transitioning into college-level curriculum is challenging for everyone, so we hold many "learning days" throughout the semester, where our sisters can grab some food and study with one another. In addition, we offer academic support through programs such as our alumnae mentorship, major-specific mentorship, and textbook exchange.

Gamma Phi is fortunate to be housed on Clemson's campus in the Greek Quad, which includes a private study room for our chapter. In 2021, this room will be newly renovated, providing a welcoming space focused on intellectual engagement. With the support from Clemson University, Gamma Phi Beta, and the Greek community, our women uphold a strong standard of academic excellence.
